meh:backblaze b2,wasabi both were kinda clunky

Bucket creation:

best:idrive e2, seagate lyve cloud very easy process, impossible cloud: extremely easy

decent:wasabi, backblaze b2 decent process

Bucket features:

best:backblaze b2, seagate lyve cloud both have public buckets with no requirements

worst:wasabi, idrive e2 both only have public buckets on request and approval, impossible cloud very basic, no public bucket option

Restrictions:

least restricted:backblaze b2

restricted in thier own ways:wasabi (public bucket requirements are steep) idrive (no public buckets unless you buy 10TB or higher plan and get approval for use case), seagate lyve cloud (biz use only, no cdn use),impossiblecloud: no public buckets

Cost:

all were affordable, idrive e2 was the cheapest.

Recommendations:

for general use: backblaze b2: least restrictions, bang for the buck, cdn integration.

for serious enterpise use: seagte lyve cloud. if seagate goes down there's not much hope for the tech industry and you have bigger fish to fry.

for webdev and cheap backuo: idrive e2. very cheap for the first year and not too bad afterwards. even has 10gb free plan which would be good for a few website backups.
