Redhat (as a company) is stable, professional and secure. They are right in line with thier target market. Synced well. Canonical/Ubuntu is unstable, immature, and insecure, they have no clue what thier target market is. Not in sync with thier userbase. ubuntu keep going after markets where it's unstable, specially for a free product. Linux is seen as a power user's OS.... It is no way being seen as an OS for gramma to get on FB and play farmville with her sewing buddies. That market is slim pickings. They are pulling a nintendo.... neglecting thier core users to go after new things.... the grass isn't greener on the other side. it may be an 'emerging market', however even that is stagnating. those grammas will want more from thier setup once they learn more.... Canonical/Ubuntu's image is also arrogant and they feel like thier on this "grand mission" to "humanize" linux.... but it gets to thier heads and anyone that challe...

This was in response to this: Apples sues teenager who sold White iPhone Conversion kit I dislike apple becuase of thier closed off environment, thier prices, and the general arrogance of jobs and co. and the cult like obsession with it. I know there's a microsoft equivalent, but it's not as creepy or aggressive. I also hate the fact there are so many who seem to kiss thier buttocks and make excuses for them or any company. I make no excuses for companies. If you continue to kiss butt about it you are actually hurting those companies by not letting them know something is wrong.... I always provide feedback to businesses and it helps them. McAfee blew up the planet just shortly of earth day. This story coming at you live from me, the best person ever. Users of the ill fated mcafee anti-virus software who were running the windows xp service pack 3 operating system were hit by an "update" that cuased the a/v cleint to erroneously delete the file 'svchost.exe' causing systems everywhere to shut down that were on xpsp3 os. millions of machines ewere down all over the globe. Grr this is maddening..... adobe does not have any 64 bit browser support (you must run it in 32 bit browser)! WTF?! how is stuff going to advance if the asshole companies don't support it. I am sick of 32 bit we need 64 bit. and if you don't know anything about it that system you just got with 4GB+ ram will be useless to a 32bit OS... well you can only use 3GB of that ram witch if you want to run more apps at once or future apps and games that is going to amount to nothing but headcrab zombies. It pisses me off how people will not let xp32 go they are clinging to it like a lost puppy to a bone. Most people don't know bout server 2008 or server 2003 I guess and more people should know about it.
