I think this is so sweet. The doggie gets to walk again and have a loving life after the owner's abandoned the poor thing and left it to freeze in a cold basement! This made me feel good cause the doggie seemed to be very affectionate and lovey! so why would the owners do such a thing? :-( They basically gave him prosthetic paws because he froze them off.  He was in a cold basement and his paws stuck to the floor. This site has some more info about it and I think they have done the same with a kitty as well!

This site has reported this: what about apple and linux now? driver support could be bad now!! this is a scary prediction.... we now have microsoft+nvidia we now have apple+intel we now have linux/droid+AMD a tri-opoly.... intel reads this and announces that they will step up GPU efforts and have stronger alliance with apple amd reads this and works better with linux as a response and helps fuel development allies with google. The thing is this could also create higher prices for the consumers, due to the pressures nvidia has with microsoft. Linux driver development with nvidia will be shafted as a result and AMD might take advantage of that and help them. intel will work stronger on thier GPU developments and create discreet GPUs that will be more powerful then thier current GMA series.  They might have a stronger alliance with apple as a result and apple will gain more ground marketshare

This was in response to this: Apples sues teenager who sold White iPhone Conversion kit I dislike apple becuase of thier closed off environment, thier prices, and the general arrogance of jobs and co. and the cult like obsession with it. I know there's a microsoft equivalent, but it's not as creepy or aggressive. I also hate the fact there are so many who seem to kiss thier buttocks and make excuses for them or any company. I make no excuses for companies. If you continue to kiss butt about it you are actually hurting those companies by not letting them know something is wrong.... This review will have 2 parts. This media player is very loaded with many very cool features. The first exhibit: the interface: As you can see the interface is very powerful looking and impressive! Review for Internet Explorer 2-20-11: MSIE has always had top marketshare. However browsers like Firefox have taken it away. I am basing this review off stable browsers so the IE9RC will not appear in this review. I shall outline the positives and negatives: + *finally has multi-tabbed browsing *has accellerators that make searching for stuff easy as selecting text, and a popup icon comes up and you can search, bing, google, and wikipedia from it. This review will be broken down into the positives and the negatives of the mapping site and will compare the performance of the routing engines at the end of this review. First we shall take a look at the positives of the mapping site. Subject: The interface:First I will note that the interface for Google Maps is very intuitive, and you can get started on getting a map or directions right away. The color scheme is very legible and easy to see. Works well with printing as well. The layout and controls are very easy to follow. Since it uses AJAX it is very cross platform friendly and works without any special browser plugins. It is also very responsive. It is easy to “share to” with a fair amount of “share to” links. I am amazed at bing maps right now. They got street view (limited locations) but its much better then googles.  Its all nicer quality and the transitions are smooth. OMG this is how mapping should be. Gimmie this for a GPS! You gotta go the the new bing maps, then install Silverlight. Here's a screenshot of it in action! This is one of my fav buildings. The Stata Center at MIT. I can't wait to see more areas mapped. the imagery is fantastic. and the images are 3d objects instead of a flat 360 image like google. I have always thought and known that navteq based systems have better routing engines then google has now. google is based off a seemingly bad teleatlas update, and they augmented that with thier streetview data and it is a bit of a mess, specially for the areas I traverse. Damn it's been a while! I've been through alot, but I'm not gonna post much personal details on this site. :) I will update you all on a few things ;) I have changed my mind on the obama adminstration, he needs to clean the congress out because it's full of panderers. I'm not going to go too deep into the political commentary though. Another thing is I've gotten Windows Server 2008 x64 Enterprise Workstion (very long winded!) I've gotten it at the beginning of november actually! and it's a very solid OS I have had uptimes of 4 months average and only been taken down by one driver update and 3 power outages. pretty damn awesome for a windows operating system.
